Lima Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 hambone/hock
    6 qt. water
    2 ribs celery
    1 carrot, sliced thin
    2 small onions, chopped
    1 (30 oz.) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. barley
    1 lb. dry lima beans
    2 diced potatoes
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Cook hambone with water and tomatoes for 1 hour.
    Add barley, veggies and beans.
    Cook until tender (about 2 hours) on low heat.
    (May need to add additional water.)
