Italian Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew meat, cut up
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 to 2 celery stalks, chopped
    2 tsp. minced garlic
    2 (28 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
    2 to 3 potatoes, diced
    1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown beef
    in
    oil
    in
    a
    large saucepan.
    Add onion, celery and garlic.
    Saute a few minutes.
    Add tomatoes (cut in pan), potatoes,
    parsley
    flakes, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
