Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw apples
    1 can pineapple tidbits
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries
    1/2 c. pecans or walnuts
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and add 1 Tbsp. of flour and one tsp. sugar. Heat, stir constantly, just long enough to thicken.
    Cool.
    Add 1/2 c. mayonnaise and remainder of ingredients.
    Pour over fruit and store in refrigerator one day or night before serving.
