Texas-Style Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. each: chopped onion and green pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (28 oz.) can plum tomatoes, coarsely chopped
    6 oz. can tomato paste
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
    5 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. cumin
    1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    This recipe is moderately hot.
    Cut back on chili powder if you like very mild chili.
