Vongali Siciliano - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 doz. clams
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    2 cloves garlic
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Scrub clams with stiff brush; rinse in running water until all sand is removed.
    Place garlic, oil and parsley in large pot. Heat 3 minutes; add water, a little salt, pepper to taste and clams.
    Cover.
    Steam over medium heat about 20 minutes or until shells open.
    Place clams in deep plates.
    Serve hot with clam broth.
    Serves 4.
