Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked instant rice, prepare according to pkg. directions
    5 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
    4 c. milk, scalded
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, beat the eggs and add sugar, salt, vanilla and nutmeg.
    Mix well and add scalded milk and stir well.
    Place the rice in a 2-quart baking dish. Pour the egg mixture over rice and stir to blend.
    Place the baking dish in a cake or similar pan and pour 1-inch or less of hot water in the larger pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes, until knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
    Serves 4 to 6.
