Ginger Snaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. crisco
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 tsp ginger
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp cloves
Preparation
    Combine crisco, sugar, and egg in mixing bowl, beat until fluffy. Add molasses and beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients together, add to sugar mixture and mix well. Chill dough until easily handled. Shape into 1 in. balls. Roll in sugar; place 2 in. apart on grease cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 min at 350\u00b0. Yield 4 doz.
