Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 whole eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. cocoa
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and Crisco.
    Sift flour once and measure. Sift measured flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder together.
    Add eggs one at a time to creamed mixture.
    Add flour alternating with milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour in a greased and floured tube pan.
    Cook 1 1/4 hours at 325\u00b0.
    Turn off oven and let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
    Frost cake, if desired.
