Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. corn syrup
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. melted butter
2 tsp. lemon juice
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. small pecan meats
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients and stir thoroughly.
Stir in eggs well, but do not beat.
Fold in pecans.
Pour into prepared pie crust.
Put 9 or 10 pecan halves on top.
Bake in hot oven (425\u00b0) for 10 minutes. Reduce heat (325\u00b0) for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool completely before cutting.
Serve plain or with whipped cream.
