My Grandma'S Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large tomatoes (firm but not dead ripe)
    3 large onions
    3 large red peppers
    3 large green peppers
    3 hot green peppers
    2 Tbsp. salt or more to taste
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 tsp. each cinnamon, ground cloves, allspice and nutmeg or use whole spices tied in a bag
Preparation
    Chop the first 5 ingredients fine or grind. Add the remaining ingredients and boil for 2 full hours. Add more seasoning to taste.
