Mae Regan'S Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 lemon (juice and rind)
1/2 c. walnuts, ground fine (optional)
Preparation

Lightly oil a regular loaf pan.
Cream margarine, sugar and eggs together.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and finely grated lemon rind.
Add nuts.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for about 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and prick top of bread all over with a toothpick.
