Barbecue Beef - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large (15 lb.) beef roast
2 bottles Open Pit hickory barbecue sauce
1 medium onion, chopped
1 lb. brown sugar
Preparation

Cook roast; cool 24 hours.
Slice paper thin or as thin as possible.
Mix barbecue sauce, onion and brown sugar.
Warm until sugar melts.
In crock-pot or roaster, alternate layers of meat and sauce.
(If not enough sauce, add small amount of tomato juice.)
Press into pot until meat is covered.
Bake or cook slow 275\u00b0 for 3 to 4 hours.
Serve on buns.
Pork can be substituted for beef.
