Manhatten Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped carrots
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. clam juice
    2 c. tomatoes
    1 1/2 oz. small pasta shells
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    8 oz. drained clams, minced or chopped
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients with 1/2 of clam juice.
    Microwave 7 to 8 minutes, covered, and stir halfway through.
    Add tomatoes, shells and rest of juice.
    Microwave, covered, for 10 to 12 minutes until shells are tender.
    Stir in clams and microwave, covered, for 1 minute.
