Gooey Butter Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box cake mix (chocolate chip works great)
6 eggs
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 lb. box powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened

Preparation

Mix together the cake mix, 3 eggs and butter.
Spread into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Batter will be thick.
Blend remaining eggs (3), powdered sugar and cream cheese.
Pour over top of batter. Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven until top has a brown glaze and pulls away from sides (40 to 50 minutes).
Cool and cut into bars.
