Basic Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 egg
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well;
    pour
    into
    a greased pan or skillet and bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
