Willie'S Butter Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. shortening (Crisco oil)
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
Preparation

Roll out dough mixture on board.
(Roll thin.)
Dot with butter (or oleo).
Cut with a knife and cover dough.
Roll dough into a roll and cut into 1 1/2-inch slices.
Place flat on baking pan (11 x 13-inch oblong).
Pour 2 cups of sugar over this.
Cover completely with milk.
Add vanilla (1 teaspoon).
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
