Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. grated orange rind
    4 large apples, coarsely chopped
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix oil, sugars, eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth.
    Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and orange rind and stir until thoroughly blended.
    Add apples and nuts and mix well.
    Pour into a buttered 9-inch tube pan or two 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pans and bake about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Transfer cake to cooling rack. Serve warm or cold.
