Cheese Cake Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans crescent rolls
    2 (8 oz.) bars cream cheese, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1 large egg, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to temperature on crescent roll can.
    Spray a 9x 13 inch baking pan lightly with cooking spray.
    Mix together cream cheese, 3/4 c. sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk until smooth.
    Line the bottom of the baking pan with 1 can of the crescent rolls pressing together the seams.
    Spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the rolls.
    Top with the remaining can of crescent rolls.
    Baste the top with the egg white.
    Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 c. sugar. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
    Allow to cool completely and cut into squares.
