Gingerbread - cooking recipe

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. molasses
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. hot water
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix and bake in greased pan for 35 minutes at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0. Use long pan.
