Jam Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    4 whole eggs
    2/3 c. water
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    2/3 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. blueberries
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar.
    Beat eggs and water into mixture.
    Set aside.
    In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves.
    Add to sugar mixture and mix well.
    Add nuts and blueberries.
    Mix gently.
    Spray eight 1-pint, wide mouthed canning jars with nonstick cooking spray oil.
    Then half fill jars with mixture and place on cookie sheet.
    Bake in jars at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and
    seal tightly with sterilized lids. When ready to serve, spoon out of jars.
