Sweet And Sour Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cubed stew meat
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. catsup
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    6 large carrots, cut in 3/4-inch pieces
Preparation
    Coat meat with flour mixture.
    Brown well in large skillet. Combine catsup, water, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt and onion.
    Cook over low heat for 45 minutes.
    Add carrots and cook until meat and carrots are tender (about 1 hour).
