Oriental Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground round
3/4 c. dried crumbs
2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. milk
1 can pineapple chunks, drained (save juice)
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 large tomato, cut into wedges
1 medium green pepper, cut into strips
Preparation

Mix sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and salt.
Cook slowly. Mix cornstarch with 1/2 cup pineapple juice and add to sauce.
Add meat balls and simmer 10 minutes.
Add remaining pineapple juice as needed.
Just before serving, add the pineapple, tomato and green pepper.
Cook until heated through.
(Do not overcook.)
Serve to the side of rice.
