Galumpki'S(Ukrainian Stuffed Cabbage) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large heads green cabbage, cored
    2 large onions, 1 chopped and 1 diced
    1 c. salt pork, cubed
    1 c. salt pork, cut in 1/2 inch chunks
    3 lb. hamburg (raw)
    2 c. cooked rice
    2 medium cloves garlic
    1 large can stewed tomatoes
    1 can tomato puree
Preparation
    Core cabbage, parboil and peel whole leaves off.
    Set aside. In large skillet, saute small cubed salt pork and one large onion (diced) until salt pork is golden brown and onion translucent.
    Put hamburg and rice into bowl; add salt pork and onion mixture and salt and pepper.
    Mix well.
    Roll in cabbage leaves and set aside. In large pot put garlic, 1 large onion (chopped), 1 cup salt pork chunks and 1 can tomato puree, then stack cabbage rolls tight. Dump stewed tomatoes between layers and on top.
    Cover.
    Cook over low heat 3 to 4 hours or until done.
