Sausage Quiche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 lb. sausage (hot or mild)
1/3 c. onion
1/4 c. green pepper
1 1/2 c. sharp cheese, grated and mixed with 1 Tbsp. flour
1 unbaked pie shell (9-inch)
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. evaporated milk
3 Tbsp. fresh parsley, cut up (optional)
3/4 tsp. seasoned salt or plain salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation

Use a skillet and a 9-inch unbaked pie shell; bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 35 or 40 minutes.
Fry the sausage and drain well; cook the onion and pepper in the same skillet, using 2 tablespoons of the sausage fat.
Combine the sausage, cheese mixture.
Cool a few minutes.
Press the mixture into the bottom and the sides of the unbaked pie shell.
Mix the remaining ingredients well and pour over the first mixture.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until nicely browned and the filling is set.
