Frozen Berry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    berries
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. powdered pectin (Sure-Jell)
    1 c. light corn syrup
    5 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wash, stem and crush enough berries to make 4 level cups of fruit.
    Slowly sift in the pectin.
    Stir vigorously.
    Set aside for 30 minutes with occasional stirring.
    Add the corn syrup and mix well.
    Measure the sugar into the container and gradually stir this into crushed berries.
    Warm mixture to 100\u00b0 and it will hasten the sugar to dissolve.
