Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk (may need a few drops more)
    No. 3 can cherries, peaches, etc.
Preparation
    Pour all ingredients except fruit into a bowl and mix well or until smooth.
    Pour into baking dish and spread evenly.
    The dough needs to be just soft enough to spread with a spoon.
    Pour fruit gently over dough.
    Do not stir dough.
    Sprinkle 1/4 to 1 cup sugar over fruit; sprinkle with ground cinnamon and cloves.
    Dot with butter.
    Do not stir!
    Bake 45 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Crust will rise to the top.
