Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat egg whites stiff.
    Cream oleo and shortening.
    Add sugar, beat until smooth.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time and beat well.
    Add flour and soda to mixture, then add the buttermilk and vanilla.
    Add coconut.
    Fold in the egg whites.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Grease and flour 3 cake (layer) pans.
