Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. melted shortening
    1 1/2 c. whole kernel corn
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and baking powder.
    Beat eggs with milk. Add shortening and corn.
    Combine flour and corn mixture.
    Stir only until moistened.
    Drop by teaspoonful onto a sizzling hot skillet.
    Fry until golden brown on each side.
    Yields 4 servings.
