Shrimp-A-La-Hunter(Hand-Down From Bull Hunter) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. shrimp, peeled and cut in halves/thirds
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 to 6 Tbsp. plain flour
    3/4 stick butter
    1 small can mushrooms (optional)
    1 can mushroom soup (optional)
    water to cover shrimp and desired amount of gravy
    4 c. cooked fluffy rice
Preparation
    Salt and pepper shrimp.
    Shake shrimp into flour, salt and pepper mixture.
    Lightly brown shrimp, over low heat, in melted butter.
    Cover with water; simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
    Yield: 4 servings.
