Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour*
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. canned applesauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. raisins (optional)
1/2 c. walnuts (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a tube pan.
Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and mix very well.
Bake until cake tests done.
