Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cooked pork (2 to 3 c.), cut in thin strips or cubes
    1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3/4 c. thinly sliced green pepper
    1/2 c. thinly sliced onion
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving liquid.
    Combine water, vinegar, sugar, cornstarch, salt, soy sauce and 3/4 of the pineapple liquid.
    Cook until clear and slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.
    Add meat, peppers, onions and pineapple chunks.
    Cook about 3 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
    Makes 4 generous servings.
