Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. strawberry jello
few drops red food coloring

Preparation

Mix and cook together the sugar, salt, cornstarch, Karo syrup and water.
Add strawberry jello and red food coloring.
Let stand until cool.
Gently coat strawberries with mixture and pour into prebaked pie shell.
