Oreo Freak-Out - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 Oreo cookies
    1/2 gal. ice cream (vanilla)
    1 Cool Whip
    1 jar caramel ice cream topping
    1 pkg. pecan pieces
Preparation
    Crush 12 Oreo cookies and place on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Layer with softened ice cream, then caramel syrup, nuts and Cool Whip.
    Top with 12 crushed Oreo cookies.
    Freeze for 24 hours.
