Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake yeast
    5 c. plain flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
    1 tsp. soda
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. shortening
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Into a bowl sift flour with other dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add buttermilk and then yeast mixture.
    Stir until flour is dampened.
    Knead on flour for a minute or two.
    Roll out to 1/2 inch thick.
    Cut with biscuit cutter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 about 12 to 15 minutes.
    This dough may be stored in refrigerator.
