Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    3/4 c. sugar or less
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 cake yeast
    1/2 c. potato water
    1 tsp. salt or more
    7 c. or less flour
Preparation
    Mix potatoes, sugar and shortening.
    In another bowl, dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup water.
    Beat eggs and add to yeast mixture.
    Pour potato water into first ingredients.
    Add salt, then flour; knead and set in icebox to rise to double in size.
    Put dough on floured board; cut each roll from dough and work with fingers.
    Roll over in greased pan.
    Let rolls rise to twice their size and bake in moderate oven, 400\u00b0, until brown or about 30 minutes.
