Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 heaping Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Bring all to a boil for 3 minutes; let cool.
    Add 2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon soda and nuts.
    Mix well. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
