Honolulu Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. steak sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 (8 oz.) cans sliced pineapple, drained
    8 slices Colby or Cheddar cheese
    8 buns
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine beef, eggs, onion, steak sauce, salt and pepper; mix well.
    Shape into 8 patties at least as large as pineapple slices.
    Grill patties on barbecue grill.
    After first side is cooked, turn, place 1 pineapple slice on each burger and top each with one slice of cheese.
    Finish cooking.
    Serve on buns. Makes eight 1/4-pound burgers.
