Heath Bar Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 box dark brown sugar
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
    chopped pecans
Preparation
    Melt the butter with the dark brown sugar in 3-quart pot.
    Cook until it reaches hard crack stage (put on medium heat and stir with wooden spoon so it won't burn).
    Use a candy thermometer, hard crack is 300\u00b0.
    Butter cookie sheet and pour the mixture onto the sheet.
    Sprinkle with chocolate chips and spread chips with wooden spoon when they start to melt.
    Sprinkle with chopped pecans immediately.
    After 1 hour, crack into small pieces.
