Beef-Noodle Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. box 1/2-inch egg noodles
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 large (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. minced onion
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Cook noodles, saute onion, beef and pepper.
    Mix in tomato sauce.
    Butter casserole.
    layer noodles on bottom (1/2 of noodles); mix cheeses and sour cream together.
    Place on top of noodles.
    Put beef mixture next and remaining noodles on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour with cover or with aluminum foil.
    This makes enough for 2 meals.
    Can be prepared ahead and baked for company.
    Freezes well.
