Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 prebaked 9-inch pie shell or 10-inch quiche shell, cooled
    1 c. light cream (half and half)
    8 mushrooms (average to large size), stems removed or 2 oz. (canned), chopped
    3 large eggs
    1 c. diced cooked ham or bacon
    1/2 to 3/4 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp. each: dry mustard, nutmeg and white pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions and mushrooms in margarine.
    Spoon the bacon, mushrooms and onion onto bottom of shell.
    Sprinkle cheese next. Beat eggs.
    Add the light cream and spices.
    Pour mixture over all.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Knife inserted in middle should come out clean.
