Chicken Superb - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 chicken breasts, halved and boned (optional)
    1/4 lb. dried chipped beef
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. cream of mushroom soup
    bacon (sufficient to cover each piece chicken)
Preparation
    Butter good-sized shallow casserole.
    Spread beef over bottom of dish.
    Arrange chicken breasts neatly on beef.
    Top each piece chicken with bacon.
    Pour cream and soup mixture over all.
    Cover dish with foil.
    Bake in preheated 300\u00b0 oven for 2 hours.
    Remove foil and bake another hour until nicely browned on top.
    This is good served with rice.
