Baked Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 onion
    8 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. or 1 can chicken broth
    3 pt. half and half
    4 large baked potatoes, cooled and cubed
    grated Cheddar cheese
    bacon pieces
    green onions, chopped
Preparation
    Take a plastic container with a lid.
    You will have to decide what size you need.
    Each day as you have leftover food, put it in the container and store in freezer.
    Keep adding leftovers until you have enough to make soup.
    Add onion, bell peppers and celery to taste (saute first).
    If you need extra liquid, put water or tomato juice in the amount you need to make it as thick as you like.
    A small amount of chili or meat sauce added makes it real good.
    Also, macaroni and cheese adds to the taste.
    If the soup is in the sweet side, add a little vinegar; or if it's too sour, add a little sugar.
    Cook until the flavors have blended together.
