Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. chicken broth
    2/3 c. light cream
    2 c. cooked chicken
    1/2 c. cooked peas
    1/2 c. cooked carrots
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Blend in flour and seasonings.
    Stir in broth and cream.
    Let boil until it thickens.
    Add chicken, peas and carrots.
    Stir well.
    Pour in shallow casserole dish.
    Bake until hot through.
    Top with paprika pastry.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until pastry is brown.
    Serve hot from the oven.
