Never Fail Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 c. whipping cream
    18 marshmallows, cut in half
    3 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar and whipping cream in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and boil 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add marshmallows.
    Stir until melted.
    Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
    Beat until spreading consistency.
    Yield: Enough for one 3 layer cake.
