Good And Easy Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    6 eggs, separated
    3 c. plain flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    2 tsp. butter flavoring (omit 1 tsp. if you use butter)
    1 c. yogurt
    1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff and set aside.
    With mixer cream sugar and butter.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt (don't omit this step).
    Add flour and yogurt (with lemon juice) alternately to sugar-butter mixture.
    Add flavorings.
    Fold egg whites into batter very gently.
    Pour into greased and floured Bundt cake pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool and invert onto cake plate.
    You may glaze, but I do not.
