Never Fail Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sifted flour
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 yeast cakes
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Measure 6 cups of sifted flour.
    Combine milk, sugar and shortening in saucepan; scald, but do not boil.
    Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast cakes and let stand 5 to 10 minutes, then stir until dissolved.
    Add salt.
    Gradually beat in the sifted flour.
    Turn out on floured board and knead gently until smooth.
    Place dough in greased bowl; cover and let rise in warm place (80\u00b0 to 85\u00b0) until double in size.
