Grandmother'S Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. Argo cornstarch
    3 egg yolks (save the whites)
    2 c. condensed milk
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix sugar and cornstarch.
    Beat in egg yolks.
    Stir in milk.
    Cook over double boiler until thickened. Add margarine, coconut and vanilla.
    Pour into an 8 or 9-inch baked pie shell.
    Cover with meringue.
    Sprinkle with coconut.
