Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
1 lb. brown sugar (2 1/4 c.)
3 eggs
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nutmeats
1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Melt the shortening.
Add brown sugar; cool slightly.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour, baking powder and salt, then add nutmeats and chocolate chips. Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Serves 3 dozen.
