Pudding Chaumeur - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    salt
    2/3 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Beat together sugar, butter and egg.
    Blend in flour, alternating with milk; mix well.
    Pour into a 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Mix together the brown sugar, boiling water and 1 tablespoon butter; pour over cake mixture.
    Cook for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
