Judy'S Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 (No. 2) can cream-style corn
1 egg
1 large chopped onion
bell pepper or jalapeno pepper (optional)

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Drop by teaspoon in hot oil.
Fry until golden brown.
